Responsibilities

You will engage energy companies, tertiary institutions and R&D agencies to understand research requirements and technology trends. You will also work with identified public sector agencies, businesses, and energy solutions providers to scope and implement programmes, through effective gathering of requirements, collaborative planning and execution of project, as well as, documenting relevant operations standards and guidelines. You will also be responsible to prioritise technologies through trend/cost-benefit analysis for technologies in emerging areas such as smart grids and electric vehicles. In addition, you will also manage project grant process, grant awardees and contracts by ensuring contractual obligations are met and projects are successfully delivered.

Requirements

You should possess a good degree in Engineering/Economics/Business or equivalent. You should have strong capability to seek and collaborate effectively across functions and organisations. You should also be a team player who is proactive and result-oriented with strong writing, communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas and negotiate effectively. Those with experience in technology planning and/or infrastructure development within the public sector are encouraged to apply. Candidates with more relevant experience will be considered for a senior position.
