CleanEnviro Summit Singapore [Events]
The National Environment Agency of Singapore is organising the inaugural CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESS) from 1 to 4 July 2012, a global platform that aims to address Asia’s search for solutions to a clean environment.
Sustaining a clean environment in tandem with urbanisation has become increasingly pertinent in a rapidly developing Asia. CESS 2012’s theme on innovative clean enviro-solutions for Asia’s growing cities aims to address the challenges of waste and resource efficiency, and their impact on environmental public health in the region.
Delegates can participate in its thought-provoking plenary sessions with speakers from the UNEP, the World Bank as well as leading business leaders and senior policy-makers. Visitors can also attend its waste management and recycling technology exhibition, the WasteMET Asia, which will showcase the latest clean environment innovations, as well as sign up for site visits to leading recycling and waste disposal facilities in Singapore. They can also attend the WasteMET-ISWA Beacon Conference co-organised with the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), as well as business exchange forums focussing on the ASEAN, China and the Middle East markets to learn of the latest environmental thinking and market opportunities.
