Singapore, October 27th, 2010 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and ST Electronics (Info-Comm Systems) Pte Ltd, have been selected by Singapore’s Energy Market Authority (EMA) to design and implement Phase 1 of its Intelligent Energy System (IES) pilot project. The IES pilot project is an advanced metering infrastructure and smart grid pilot funded by the Government of Singapore and Singapore Power, a leading energy utility company in Asia Pacific.
